I’m very honoured to have been invited to discuss my work as part of the “Tea and Textiles” programme run by the Handweavers Guild of America. The HGA describes the programme thus:
“Each week HGA will host a conversation with some of the most respected fiber artists in the field today. In our 45-minute discussion we will focus on their artwork and their creative journey.”
My interview takes place next Tuesday 23 November, at 9pm UK time (4pm EST). Of course, given the time difference, I’m more likely to have moved onto wine rather than tea. 😉 The event is broadcast live on Facebook, but if you can’t make it then, you can watch the recording on their Facebook page.
They have interviewed some fibre artists I greatly admire as part of this programme, including Elin Noble and Nathalie Miebach, so I hope I don’t let the side down!
Congratulations Kim and well deserved. Your work is really creative and exciting and deserves greater exposure. I’m really looking forward to hearing your interview 👍🏾♥️
Thanks Joan – fingers crossed it goes well!
